Everyone knows that a picture is worth a thousand words. Whether you’re publishing a post or posting a tweet you should always include images and graphics to complement your content. Visual elements can make your content much more appealing resulting in more shares and clicks than a post containing nothing but text.
Consider adding infographics, photo galleries, videos, slideshares, and other types of rich media. No one wants to read a bland post that consists only text. Adding these visual elements to your article or a social media post will make your content much more interesting and will result in greater user engagement and click through rate.
Next time you’re creating a new piece of content or sharing something on social media, make sure to add images and other types of rich media to boost user engagement and drive more traffic.
Bonus: There are many useful tools on the web that can help you create beautiful graphics. One of the tools I use the most is Canva. However, there are many more free tools and apps available online.
Below are few of my favorites I’d like to recommend:
Canva – Canva makes design simple for everyone. It’s simple and easy to use even for non-creative people. Choose from many templates and styles to create beautiful graphics.
Adobe Spark – Similar to Canva. Allows you to create variety of visuals using various templates
PicMonkey – Photo editing tools that can help you enhance your images.
BeFunky – Another photo editing tool that can help you improve and edit your photos
Slideshare – If you need to create a slide presentation to use on your website, slideshare is the best tool for available for this.
