If you use social media, particularly Instagram, you probably heard the rumors that Facebook, the parent company of Instagram is testing “hiding likes” feature.
By removing the total number of likes from photos and videos that appear in the main feed, profiles and permalink pages they’re hoping to change and improve how people use social media.
Instead of being a popularity contest, social media will hopefully get back to what it was originally designed for, a way to socialize and make connections, not measure and compare yourself against others.
Whether you’re an influencer, a regular user or someone who hardly uses social media, we’d like to know what do you think of Instagram removing its likes feature.
Will it result in havoc and lines of unemployed micro influencers? Or will it lead to peace and world order?
